Ellie_Grace 271 Posted June 7, 2012 Just leaving for my surgery at the (pardon the expression) butt crack of dawn. A bit anxious and nervous but ready to continue this journey. Please send prayers my way. Surgery is scheduled for 7:30 am. Talk to you all on the other side. Best of luck to the others having surgery today! 1 dieseluncg68 reacted to this

Ellie_Grace 271 Posted June 7, 2012 All went well so far. Found a small hernia and fixed that too. About to get up and walk as soon as nurse comes and unhooked everything. Just really drowsy. Feeling pain but not that bad. Thanks everyone 1 dieseluncg68 reacted to this
aBetterRay 17 Posted June 7, 2012 It's great that all went well. They also found and fixed a hernia on me, so I imagine that may be common. Keep it under 15 mph in the hallways, and don't be surprised if it hurts to laugh, so don't let anyone be funny around you...enjoy your stay, watch for the male respiratory therapist ( he had some oddly personal stories to divulge), and remember, I've chips are your friend...
