kmiller 146 Posted June 7, 2012 Tonight I went with my hubby to a little restaurant. I ordered a hamburger patty and some cottage cheese. I ate less than 1/2 of the hamburger patty but I'm feeling it. I won't do that ever again,

shellb 9 Posted June 7, 2012 Ground beef of any kind still causes issues, pain and sometimes dumping. Ground turkey works well though, I use it for Sloppy Joes, meatloaf, chile etc. Unless I tell my family they have no idea or complaints!
Jen in SoCal 189 Posted June 7, 2012 I had a beef patty when I went out to eat with my daughters and I tolerated it really well. It was flame broiled, not fried. I think that made a big difference. I ate about 2/3 of it. I believe it was a quarter pound (before it was cooked, of course). It was a little dry and I was dying of thirst but it sat in my stomach ok.
