I want to ride a roller-coaster too!!! I moved right next to Kings island and have yet to ride any of the roller coaster with my son and husband! I grew up in Orlando and spent my life riding the rides!!! Now I'm scared to not be able to fit!

I live near Kings Island too!! Well, I'm about a half hour away closer to Cincinnati but my husband works off of the same exit as KI. We were there today just for a little while to activate our gold passes. I'm 5 days post-op so I'm taking things slowly. My youngest is 4 so I mostly stood around with him in lines and walked. It was exhausting but I've been told the first two weeks are the worst!

I did the Zombie run a week before my surgery- in Amsbury MA. And I scanned the crowd and I was the biggest chubbiest person there.. I was slow- and made my friends go on without me. But I finished it. I can't wait to do it again next year- hopefully 100lbs lighter!! I just want to fit

On roller coasters with my son.. And travel without needing an extra seatbelt extender on airplanes!!

Definitely cannot wait for cheaper clothes and a ride on a roller coaster. My husband already wants to go window shopping. I just had my surgery on 5/22.

My goal: I told my 9 yr old son that once I lost enough weight that next summer we are going to an amusement park and ride rides together! Can't wait to enjoy life to its fullest! And not have to worry if the bar will lock, or if the seatbelt latches!! He can't wait!!

I want to do an AFF skydive, I've did a tandem when I was about 50lbs lighter but looked like a stuffed sausage in the jumpsuit.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
