Berry 0 Posted January 25, 2007 HI, I had my gallbladder/liver ultrasound today and found that I have gallstones. I'm so frustrated and down over this. I'm sure this will delay me getting the band because I will have to have it removed. Has anyone else gone through this? lisah25 3 Posted January 25, 2007 I had mine out almost 5 years ago. It wasn't bad, they did it laproscopic. I was in the hospital about 15 hours total, would have been less by I was on IV antibotics because my GB was really bad. I was off work 2 weeks, felt pretty decent after 1.5. sg_sg 0 Posted January 25, 2007 alot of people are walking around with gallstones and don't know it. the only time it is a bad thing is if you get an inflammed/infected gallbladder......... this can happen if a stone is small enough to try and exit the gallbladder and gets stuck in the ducts.
