Neen 3 Posted May 26, 2012 Nurse told me not to weight myself at first cause I'd be disappointed as they had pumped me full of fluids and gas that I'd weight a little more. And I came out of hospital a little heavier than I went in,.... But went it starts moving!!!!!! Good to hear both of you and thru the surgery and on the new and exciting path to health. I'm three weeks post op, and every day learn new limits, and try new things gently (and within guidelines I've been given). I'm still on soft foods, but moved on from puréed. It's exciting a a friend who's 3.5years post op, (and looking and feeling fabulous) said it takes about a year to fully understand and know your limits. And get over some of the old foodie thoughts. This is an exciting new adventure to health and movement, and it's so cool to have the wonderful people on this forum to talk to about our journeys.
