Panda 354 Posted May 24, 2012 Yes I was warned of it. I keep sugar free gum at hand. Its called body ketosis from metabolizing high level if fat. I also keep a bottle of Water handy. LosingItForMe2011 320 Posted May 26, 2012 Gum is a no, no according to my bariatric group as well. You swallow that it's not easily digested and can block the openings. I believe as long as you are in ketosis, which you want to be in to lose more weight, you'll have the breath issue. sugar free mints are ok to have from what I've been told.
