tinabree 22 Posted May 23, 2012 Well I am a single mom who has 2 girls 17 & 11 and I am starting out on this journey. I am currently taking a class via my insurance and if all goes right I hope to have the operation in October. I am trying to stick to 1200 calories and do a good job on the most part but then there are those days (sometimes many). From what I see exercise is extremely important and that is something I need to start doing ( I hate it) lol. I can see myself after the surgery as thinner and feeling great but then there is that evil person on my shoulder that says I will fail. Do any of you ever feel like that? Well I am here for you all too. Tina 1 Alex Brecher reacted to this
berniec 166 Posted May 23, 2012 Welcome Tina. I hate exercising too but when you see the pounds coming off it motivates you. My rny surgery was April 23rd. I have lost 36 pounds so far. One week I had gained 2 or 3 three pounds and I got upset. So that's what keeps me motivated. You can do it.
