Having Trouble And Discourged

i had surgery May 2. I lost 23 lbs in 14 days on the liquid diet. I am on puree now and gained 5 lbs. Why?? This worries me to death. I am still having trouble getting Protein in. I am suppose to have 60 grams a day and im doing good to get 35-40. I am so discourged and frustrated right now.

I had surgery May 1 & down 19 lbs! I came home on puréed food. I'm not sure why you gained weight on puréed? Was it high fat? I think you're doing a GREAT job getting your protien in. I'm still struggling getting it all in. I lost 13 lbs the first week & it's leveled off to 3-4 week, which I think is more attainable. Don't be frustrated. It's not a quick fix. It will take time. Be strong.
