Neen 3 Posted May 12, 2012 I was told to drink Alpine tea, and use benefibre. Sure Alpine tea would be available but not sure what an equivalent of the other would be. Can't use any fibrous drinks to help.

ekelly23 0 Posted May 14, 2012 Thanks! Ended up back in the hospital last night. They think it's leftover from the surgery.
Panda 354 Posted May 14, 2012 I take stool softeners and if I get no relief from those I was informed by the Bariatric nurse to use fleet enema. Gross but relief within 5 mins. Bought some in bulk from costco. Actually for me Constipation is the worst part of this surgery. Which is a small thing. I'll take a lil constipation in exchange for weight loss everyday of the week! berniec 166 Posted May 14, 2012 I'm having a problem with Constipation too. I'm not used to this. Before surgery I used to go 2 to 3 times a day. Now sometimes I don't go at all. I'm going to try the Miralax because the stool softeners don't work.

LosingItForMe2011 320 Posted May 15, 2012 Best thing to do is always to call your bariatic center/surgeon to find out what they recommend. Each group is different but, in the end if you end up with an issue at least you followed their instructions so they know the next step to take. 1 eglean2 reacted to this
