buffalogal 52 Posted May 12, 2012 While waiting for my place in line, I was encouraged to keep trying to lose weight, and I did weight watchers. I was doing ok and lost a few pounds when I was notified I am now in line and starting the process. I start my classes this Monday, and I will probably have surgery in July. In the meantime, I have been eating horribly! Has anyone else done this? My habits are totally in the gutter all of a sudden, and I'm wondering if it's sort of a last "hurrah" while I can. kmiller 146 Posted May 12, 2012 Oh My! Did I ever! My husband and I are empty nesters and eat out every night. I ate anything and everything I wanted including lots of Desserts. I'm really big into deserts and breads...all the good stuff. Any away I had 3 months to do this and I gained an additional 15 lbs.

buffalogal 52 Posted May 13, 2012 Am I going to miss this afterward, or feel more indifferent to food? Does the temperamental tummy do enough to willingly give it up?
LadyLocutus 41 Posted May 13, 2012 Yup I sure did! From the day of my first consultation to almost 2 weeks before the liquid diet I was eating at every restaurant possible. But then all of a sudden I felt ashamed and I wanted to do better and I did. I look at the "tornado eating" as traveling. There is no food I haven't tried, nothing I have kept myself from and now I have to start a new journey. My mind still keeps the memory of a bag of Doritos or the taste of a donut but I know indulging leads to failure. Don't be hard on yourself, when you are ready to get in the zone you will! Praying for you! Onyx
