frankt04 80 Posted May 19, 2012 That's amazing that you've lost so much wait. How long has it been since the surgey? 8/24/2010 I had bypass, 30 days later I had complications and passed 2 units of blood, then had 120 days of slow recovery from blood deficient enimia. I wouldn't change anything, it made me respect my tiny tummy that much more!

amy0501 4 Posted May 21, 2012 I'm doing better but yes' date=' I am hungry....I am able to eat 1.5 oz of Protein and fruits and veggies now so I had a slice of pinapple this morning and one this afternoon and that helped allot. I have lost more weight, a total of 27 lbs as of Monday. I think I was sick with a cold before and that is why I thought I felt hungry when really it was a stomach virus....I am better now except I have always got Migraines and I seem to have to take a Migraine pill every day (normally around 4 or 5:00 in the afternoon) and I think that is from being tired and hungry....yes, this diet is very hard, but we can do it! I had my surgery on 4/18 so I am 4 weeks out today. When was your surgery and how are you doing?[/quote'] You don't seem to be eating enough protein. You should be eating 3-4 oz per meal. Could be why you're hungry. Have you tried Protein Shakes? Ensure High Protein has 25 grams & are pretty good. I would add more protein & see what happens. I also lose more when I've eaten all my meals & not skipped. My surgery was May 1 & I'm down 19 lbs. just starting to exercise.
