jac88 5 Posted April 28, 2012 Hey Barbie, My name is Jacee and I'm 23, female and living in Australia. I go in for my RNY bypass on the 25th of May. I originally had Lapband surgery, and was very successful until my band slipped. I can't wait to start my new journey Best of luck!
Barbiedoll77 24 Posted April 28, 2012 Thank you and good luck to you as well. I wanted the band, but my surgeon detoured me to gastric bypass surgery instead. Sent from my ANDROID using RNYTalk

Panda 354 Posted April 29, 2012 I agree you are all on your way to a much better quality of life. I'm 5 weeks postop and except for being exhausted all the time I have no regrets!! Good luck! Let us know how you all are doing! The exhaustion goes away. Your insides are still healing:) I'll be 6 weeks post op on Wednesday and each day I feel just a little better. Also I was told that your liver is metabolizing high levels of fat and it (your liver) gets exhausted from all of the hard work its doing:)
