Hello,

My name is Barbie, Im 35 years old, and im having gastric bypass surgery in 2 -3 weeks. I am currently a Type #2 diabetic and Im insulin dependent.

I have been denied a few times by insurance, but finally got the okay last march 2012. I just found this site/app and I love it!!

I realize I have a long, RoCkY road ahead of me, but im willing to work hard and fight everyday to be healthy.

Thank you.

Hey Barbie,

My name is Jacee and I'm 23, female and living in Australia. I go in for my RNY bypass on the 25th of May. I originally had Lapband surgery, and was very successful until my band slipped. I can't wait to start my new journey :)

Best of luck!

Thank you and good luck to you as well. I wanted the band, but my surgeon detoured me to gastric bypass surgery instead. :D

The exhaustion goes away. Your insides are still healing:) I'll be 6 weeks post op on Wednesday and each day I feel just a little better. Also I was told that your liver is metabolizing high levels of fat and it (your liver) gets exhausted from all of the hard work its doing:)
