Erin 25 Posted April 23, 2012 Hi everyone! I just had the RNY gastric bypass on April 6th 2012 and just found this site. I thought I would pop in and introduce myself. My name is Erin, and would love to get to know some people who are going through the same thing I am. I have been doing pretty well so far, thank god! Scared to death something I eat may make me dump, so being super duper careful about everything right now. So far so good. I am on the puree stage week three, and its getting better now that I can chew a little...lol. Well, I hope everyone is doing well, and I could use any tips or tricks that can make the transition smoother. have a great day!

So we're about at the same place . I'm getting bored with the purée phase but also sticking strictly to the diet. Mmmmm cottage cheese. I haven't had any issues with anything and hoping I never do. Just thought I'd chime in since we are at the same spot or close. Best wishes!

zephyr 48 Posted April 24, 2012 Hi Erin, Welcome to the board. I won't have my surgery until July, so I'm still in my six months preop program. I envy you having your surgery already. Hope everything is going well.

I agree puree is getting boring, I have 1 more week of it. I am totally scared of dumping too, being very careful. I have been very lucky as well with no issues with food at all. Good luck!
