tammy144 2 Posted April 22, 2012 I know two people who have had the sleeve and their recovery time was longer than the r-n-y. Both needed 4 weeks. wps1867 0 Posted April 22, 2012 My experience: I had a pre-op on Tuesday. Laparoscopic RNY Wednesday. Discharged Friday. Went to (office) work Saturday (nice and quiet on a weekend), but got me tired after a couple of hours. Will work Monday a few hours. Have a follow up appt to remove the staples on Tuesday.
