PhotoChic 70 Posted December 10, 2012 That's a first for me Ellie... I had not heard of a doctor saying to lower Protein. Just FYI... I was in a 3 week stall and upped my Calcium and exercise and lost 3 lbs.. I was like wth.. But somewhere I read calcium helps promote weight loss and I love those Carmel calcium chews anyway so ill keep doing it. You are doing so well and are an inspiration to many!! Yes my doctor said the lower your weight gets that is a certain amount of protein you'll need according to that weight! I'm 2 pounds away from 125lbs but decided I want to be just smaller. Good job. What was your doctors goal weight for you?

patsy1965 2 Posted December 13, 2012 Well, I woke up thinking it was Friday, so guess what! I weighed. It's been exactly one week today since my surgery. Oh, and I have a question. Do you count the day of your surgery as post-op? I'm asking because I've noticed some new ppl counting it and some not. I'm a newbie, too, of course. Anyway...... I'm down 10 lbs. plus the 5 gained in the hospital from all the fluids, etc.
