beth423 33 Posted April 16, 2012 Hi. I am scheduled for surgery May 2nd. My biggest fear is not losing weight. I was wondering if it was possible to not lose if you follow the diet and exercise??
KayleighsMommy 16 Posted April 16, 2012 Most people would tell you no. Honestly, I'm still on the fence about this. I am losing... though really, really slowly. So all in all I would have to say that as long as you do what you are supposed to do you will lose weight (even if it's extremely slow... like me )

DLCoggin 1,788 Posted April 25, 2012 I'm 27 weeks post-op and I have never heard of anyone that did not lose weight following RNY. There will be times when the pounds come off pretty fast. And times when they come off pretty slow. And times when they don't come off at all (for a while). Focus your mind and your energy on doing exactly what your team tells you to do and the weight will take care of itself. You and your fiance are going to love the new you!!
