eglean2 24 Posted May 2, 2012 I would say the truth. I had surgery. Their response would be what I would more deflect. Anything that I consider insulting would be said so on the spot. I'm a very open person and you never know when you might be helping someone come to a decision about themselves.
Redheadpeg 3 Posted May 2, 2012 I have told a few people at work..aloof my family (we are a close knit family) and my BFF'S!! I know with my being off for several weeks at work they will figure it out...and I don't mind if they know at that time. I know there will be a few that will share their distaste for the surgery...but I don't care. I will say something like don't need their opinion or approval and don't appreciate them getting into to my face about it! Haha type like I am tough...but I am a sensitive easy going person...& just hope I have the right words @ the right time! buffalogal 52 Posted May 23, 2012 I was going to ask if you know why. We've been talking about that in our pre-op classes. I'm sorry to hear this.
