KevinsBabyGirl85 364 Posted March 28, 2012 Just wondering if anyone has had any differences in taste after surgery as aposed to before? and If you have anything you can't eat now after surgery that you once loved! I have a problem with a few things, I can't eat chicken even though I would love to! Also ketchup makes me feel sick to my stomach and so does the smell of skim and 1% milk.....funny thing is about milk I love the smell of the whole milk and love the taste!! meilinblue172 0 Posted March 31, 2012 I had rny on dec 21. weight lost so far is 53 lbs. I started on surgery day at 301. now i am 247. I am 51 (52 in 3 weeks). i had problems with smell of foods. Everything smelled like a dirty dish rag. That side effect has gone away thank goodness. Anyway, I still have long road ahead of me. I would love to reach 135. I don't know if that is a realistic goal or not. I am 5 ft 4 & 3/4 inches tall. My bone structure is medium.

getinmybelly79 1 Posted April 20, 2012 Omg I dumped for the first time last night and I thought I was going to die. I had some cream of wheat with Splenda. It was so yummy and like 10 minutes after eating it, I started getting hot and my heart was pounding in my chest. I run to bathroom to give birth to everything I have ever eaten my life. I was dry heaving during the whole ordeal. Good news is I lost 2lbs from the dumping. Never again...cream of wheat is the enemy..what was I thinking?
