babygirl06033 1 Posted March 17, 2012 I'm new to this site and I just had my surgery on 3/8/12. I'm so excite for this new life right now I'm still on the liquid diet and I'm struggling. Next Wednesday I have my check up and hopefully I'll be able to eat food. Do any of you have any suggestions for me for the next few days?

LosingItForMe2011 320 Posted March 18, 2012 Congrats to you both and really soon you'll be allowed to eat something more solid. In the meantime why not take this time to research the boards and internet, learn more about the process that you're going through and how to get the best results. There are tons of books out there too. I love doing the research and getting more info...the more you know the more empowered you will be Congrats and I wish you both the best! diddle106 71 Posted March 18, 2012 Yes congrats to u both! You will be over the liquid phase soon enough, hang in there! It's important that u don't rush the process, u are healing inside still. I wanted to stay on liquids, because one I was nervous about getting sick and two it meant I had to cook, boo! Lol!! Good luck making it through, stay strong. kmouton 0 Posted March 18, 2012 I'm having a pity party today. I'm guessing that's normal.
karin 1 Posted March 19, 2012 One day or one minute at a time! When you start eating its not going to be much. I had my surgery 10 months ago! Still losing around 1.5 pounds a week but it's slowing down. Don't rush eating cause now I can eat a lot around a cup and should of took it slower
