ChaoticBliss 113 Posted October 6, 2013 Has anyone else run into this? I am right at 3 months and have lost 40 pounds. That puts me 30 pounds from goal. I have had steady two pound a week loss after the first month or so and all in all that is really great stuff. Everything I could have hoped for! So why am I freaking out a little. I mean I have lost 30 pounds in a year, but these few short months makes it feel a little surreal. I worry about excess skin, but not really, if that makes sense. I haven't hit the hair loss stage in force but I am dreading that. My subconscious just started screaming in the background. This is so fast, maybe you should slow down, you have lost so much so fast. My husband even noticed I was eating bigger servings. I realized my subconscious chatter was causing me to eat more. I expressed to him what was going on in my head and he said he could tell something was up. I currently weigh just under where I have spent the majority of my adult life. I think the prospect of actually surpassing it is a little scary to my psyche. I worked through that for about a week, I didn't lose that week, but I have since gotten back to my normal portions and am losing again. I think I am addressing the subconscious triggers that have surely helped with my strugglers all along the way. I was just wondering if anyone else had run into something like this along the way. 1 Travelbug1955 reacted to this

I have done a lot of reading and that is the reason I even recognized the subconscious chatter. Recognizing it is definitely the first step.
