KathyH 0 Posted January 23, 2007 spot can you tell me what you eat in a typical day? I am interested in finding out what others are eating (I try so much that doesn't work) and how much (everything comes back up, could be a chewing problem). Thanks so much! Kathy:)
juliegeraci 7 Posted January 23, 2007 Hi Kathy, that is the beauty of hitting your sweet spot. I am a)never hungry b)fill up fast and c)don't PB if I am creful. To me those are the signs of being at the sweet spot. I am losing more rapidly too which is a good thing. My average day consists of a Protein Shake, a light snack and more Protein at dinner. I probably consume no more than 1k calories a day. I am losing .5 lbs a day right now. Good luck. OH P.S. I have 3 ccs in a 10cc band (which holds 4.2 ccs). I'm protein shake or drink in the am; small snack in mid morning and mid afternoon (i mean small - 3 or 4 bites of something) Soup with high amount of protein at lunch, and for dinner a little more than lunch (I'm looser in the evening). I take in about 1300 calories a day, but my md wants me taking in another 400 calories (he said my metabolism will really slow down if i don't bump my caloric intake a bit).... juliegeraci 7 Posted January 23, 2007 Go with the calories your surgeon says to go with they know best. Mine says we can go as low as 800 calories a day. I take in 1k a day and I'm happy at that level.
warmmorningsun 1 Posted January 23, 2007 I think you're right; recommended intake should also take into account height and weight; so depending on our differing heights and weights, the recommendation could totally be different; good luck to all!
