It sure what's going on but I been getting leg pain. :( wondering if I should call my doc I just hope it goes away soon :/

Is your leg swollen at all or warm to touch? I am wondering if you have symptoms of a blood clot. Hope it gets better soon.

My post op paperwork says to call the doctor/go to hospital if there is any leg pain. I had leg pain though, and talked to my MIL who had a blood clot. She assured me it was just sore muscles from all the walking.

If the pain is constant and doesn't go away in resting position then you should go to the hospital immediately. Also if it is hot to the touch is another sign. A blood clot is not something you want to play around with. If you have chest pains or trouble breathing while having the sore legs, call 911.

My leg pain was achy, but was worse when I walked around. If I was just sitting there and not moving/touching my leg, there was no pain.

Hope this helps, and I hope it's just pain from walking or something simple :/

I had leg pains aswell starting bout 4-5 days after surgery. It lasted for about 2 weeks. Asking my family doctor she said that sometimes it can be due to magesium deficiency. She gave me some powder to buy but I didn't get it because it was too expensive and the pain wasn't too terrible. It did sort itself out a few days after I started eating soft foods.

The pain was muscle pain, felt like I just came back from weight training.

I had my sleeve done 5 weeks ago and I also am experiencing leg pain. Mine is from the knees down. I know muscle pain and I don't think that is it. It is not hot or warm to the touch. Just sensitive! Hoping it will go away. I go back to Dr. for 6 week check up and that will be one of my questions. I did mention it after three weeks when I started my monthly cycle (which was aweful cramping that I have not had since I was a teenager) and they thought it was just sore muscles. It is still sensitive and its been 2 weeks since then. Will let you know what I find out.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
