Time off for desk jobs?

Recommended Posts

I have a desk job, but it's a very demanding one and the timing didn't work for me to take more than a few days off. I had my surgery on Monday, came home Tuesday, spent Wednesday recuperating at home, worked from home Thursday, and was in the office on Friday.

I was fine both physically and mentally.

That's encouraging

This is a great question. I have a desk job and only 1 week of time off (vacation) due to being new, and not taking disability.

Surgery Wed (12/4), and off for 1 week through following Wed (12/11), working from home Thurs-Fri (12/12-13), and back into the office on Monday (12/16) which will be 12 days out.

I do transcription from home 4 hours a day. The nurse told me to see how I feel. I get done 11/21, Thursday and am off until Tuesday. I'm hoping to be able to resume my normal shift.

I work for a bank and I was thinking of going on FMLA. Not sure though. I'm still waiting on my last insurance approval.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
