FatToFabulous 4 Posted October 3, 2013 I have absolutely no appetite today. I don't want my Protein Shake or my yogurt and certainly don't want any Soup broth. I have bend munching and sucking on ice cubes all day. I'm kinda worried...
Chase30 114 Posted October 6, 2013 you can go days/weeks without food. don't worry about it as long as you get enough Water. try liquid vitamins for essential nutrients if that helps..

Macy6 356 Posted October 6, 2013 I'm with Chase30.... I had pretty much nothing but Water for the first 2 weeks. After horrid reactions to my Protein Shakes and overall feeling like crap I said screw it and I focused strictly on water. When I was two weeks out and released to softs I was ready and did great transitioning over to foods. As long as you are getting your fluids in, having days without food won't hurt you. If it lasts for long periods of time than that is another story.

LipstickLady 25,682 Posted October 6, 2013 I vomited or viciously pooped out everything for several weeks post op and had NO appetite. I lived and you will, too. Listen to your body. Get in your fluids. Move as much as you can. You will be fine!
