sohio44811 17 Posted October 3, 2013 I was just wondering about a few things. Monday was my surgery day woot woot! I felt great in the hospital however the pain meds where at my fingertips. I have been trying to ween myself off of them. Has anyone experience the most painful part of the surgery is the incision sights? It looks like the surgeon took the stitch to deep because it is stuck in. And thats the incision that hurts like the devil. Pulling and burning. Hurts to breath. is there anyone our there that is feeling the same way?
marynoel 12 Posted October 3, 2013 My largest incision was very tender. It was painful for me to take a deep breath. Being a professional singer, this was a problem. Just took it easy for longer. Maybe you should call your doctor regarding the deep stitch. I had staples. Hang in there. And take your time recovering,....be good to yourself. Don't rush it. dlareme 23 Posted October 3, 2013 My largest incision was sunk in too. My surgeon says it was because they stitched inside. She said it wouldn't be sunk in forever. I did have a lot of pain bending over and getting out of cars. But mostly when I moved wrong. I couldn't get out of bed without help either for a few days. I didn't have pain or burning al the time though just when I moved wrong. Hope that helps. 2 sohio44811 and marynoel reacted to this
7 Bites_Jen 479 Posted October 8, 2013 It DOES get better!! I am a year out and my scars are pretty much gone. The largest incision really hurt on the inside for a few days, but that went away after about a week or so. Most of may pain was in my shoulders!
