Are you adding anything to your wardrobe for the fall and winter seasons, or are you going to work with what you have in your closet? I LOVE  to shop so I will be adding a couple of tops and sweater from Marshalls or TJMaxx. I'd also like a leather/pleather dress or skirt...if the price is right.

I should be having my surgery late October to mid November so I know it won't be wise to spend a lot of money on clothes but I'm just curious as to what everyone else plans on doing. Post pictures if you like. :) I'd like this dress...

I am a clothes horse! I am wearing what I have. I owed not to buy anything new until after my surgery. Mine is sometime in feb. 2014 ( my ins makes me wait 6 mos) I have a friend who just has surgery this summer so she is saving clothes for me. I also found a Taylor who can down size my current pants and skirts up to 2 sizes. I am looking forward to a new summer closet!! Good luck!!

Love that dress! I plan on waiting to shop until I loose some/most of the weight. My birthday was last month and I got a couple of giftcards that I'm just going to save and treat myself to a shopping spree :) I will probably have to get some of my work clothes taken in (yay!) during the process but I will be more than okay with it!

A tailor is a very good idea Juliansmommy! I'm sure there are things in my closet that will be taken in before I donate to a shelter or the Goodwill.

I just hit the mother-load of all clearance sales at JC Penneys. They had racks and racks of clothes for only $1.97, plus the sale was take an additional 25% off. On top of all that they had a coupon for $10 off a $25 purchase. I had 2 rewards coupons for $10 off any purchase.

I bought $25 worth times 2. I now have a full wardrobe in a 2x and a 1X for my total out of pocket price of only $10. Woohoo for me!

By my surgery date I was already down 2 sizes. In the last 5 weeks since my surgery I have gone down another 2 sizes.

I went to work Sunday morning at 5 am to swap out one of the machines. Thank goodness I was the only person in the plant because as I am walking while holding this huge metal tray full of parts my once tight fitting stretch jeans started falling. I couldn't just set the tray down because it was covered with liquid plastic resin. So, I had to walk through the lab and into the cleaning room with my feet apart trying to prevent my pants from completely falling. By the time I was able to set the tray down my pants were below my butt. Luckily they never made it to my ankles.

That Sunday afternoon is when I hit JC Penneys. I went forma size 24 jeans and now wear a tight 16 or a loose 18. WOOHOO!

WHAT?!?!?!? $1.97 plus and additional 25% off?!?!? You really did luck up on that sale and I totally pictured you walking with that tray in you hands trying to prevent your pants from falling down. Thanks for the giggle.

Way to go on the weight loss!

my mother was the one who told me about it. Lot cheaper then buying new stuff when some clothes are newer.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
