Italiancurves 117 Posted October 2, 2013 Someone mentioned it here and I can't find that post. She said she bought one in TJ and it helped her back out of TJ faster. Anyone know where we get these? At hotel?
joatsaint 2,814 Posted October 2, 2013 From what I've read, it is a special pass that lets you use a special car lane at the border to reduce your waiting time to cross. The passes are offered by merchants and businesses like hospitals as an incentive to buy from them. I've seen a few websites that offer a complimentary pass for using their medical services. Here is an example. http://www.whitesmil...ck-border-pass/ But you would need to contact your hotel, physician or hospital to find out if they offer the pass or if you can buy one locally once your in Mexico. ASKSARAH - Sleeve 256 Posted October 2, 2013 your medical driver will have one. You do not need to get it if you are being driven across the boarder. My doctor gave my driver one. They are super time sensitive papers. And I got over the boarder in 20 min as opposed to 3-5 hours.
Italiancurves 117 Posted October 2, 2013 Ok, good to know. We will be with the driver, leaving our car at border parking in California. Sounds like we don't need one then. Right?
Chase30 114 Posted October 5, 2013 Samuel at ready for achange had a medical pass, same thing. We got across in 30-45 min. The line we passed up, cars were stacked up there, looked like a 4 hour wait.
tampa 55 Posted October 5, 2013 Hmmm interesting. I was with Ready 4 a Change. Came home wed and there was no medical pass offered or used. We waiting and hour and half to get over the boarder. No biggie
Chase30 114 Posted October 6, 2013 Sounds like they still used it they just didnt tell you. Did you pass a much longer line of cars to your left when driving up to the border?

tampa 55 Posted October 6, 2013 That would not suprise me at all. Samuel called me the night before to confirm Pick up at 12:00 am and woke me up. I was not happy at all and expressed that. His Dad ended up coming instead. Maybe he does not have that access. Yes, I did see that line no biggie. I am happy to home safe and sound and away from that place

StawberryBlond 31 Posted October 6, 2013 Tampa, Away from that place doesn't sound good. Did you have a bad experience is Mx or were you just ready to be home?

tampa 55 Posted October 6, 2013 strawberry, I had a fine experience there but was ready to come home. I would have been the same anywhere I went. Surgery was no fun. Not as easy as some people make it out to be but easier than I expected. The walk walk walk is so true.

Chase30 114 Posted October 6, 2013 Yeah being in Tijuana is not a vacation you want to have. I wanted to got as fast as possible as well. While also being in pain from surgery it's not ideal. There's no place like America and being home.
