BrickHouse 358 Posted July 21, 2014 If you put a cover on it, it should keep maybe a week or so, I'd think.
WildGrits 101 Posted July 21, 2014 Hey friends! Does anyone know how long Jello will keep in the fridge? My surgery is Wednesday so I wanted to make it ahead of time but want to be sure it will keep. I Don't know if it ever really goes bad. It does dehydrate so I would say when it looks like the part sticking to the bowl is higher than the Jell-O itself, probably too rubbery to eat. Defiantly able to keep a week.

MommyMeghan 92 Posted July 25, 2014 Hey folks, had my sleeve, hiatal hernia & hysterectomy on Wednesday. I'm still in St Peter's but things are coming along & the doc says I'm doing great. Even with the pain, I'm so glad I did it. Possibly going home tomorrow, every day is a new opportunity to be better. :-)
BrickHouse 358 Posted July 26, 2014 So proud of you, MommyMeghan!!! Are you home yet?
MommyMeghan 92 Posted July 26, 2014 I am, just got home a little while ago. Dr. T was very pleased with how well I did with so much surgery all at once. I'm happy to be home in my element. And so happy it's done. I know I have a long recovery ahead but it's all worth it.
Kate M 60 Posted September 16, 2014 What happened to this group?
BrickHouse 358 Posted September 20, 2014 I hoped this group would stay active! I began working at the St. Peter's Bariatric Program with Dr. Trivedi and it's insanely busy! Our office manager left and I'm covering 2 (and a half) jobs, but I still love it. I'm also leading the BariatricPal local chapter support group at the East Greenbush Library once a month on Saturday mornings. Our next group is October 4 and I would love to see some new (and old!) faces!
Kate M 60 Posted November 6, 2014 Kate M here! Still waiting for a surgery date with Dr Trivedi at St Peters. I am Seeing a new NUT tomorrow ( my first was a disaster). My first telephone contact with her was very encouraging. She will even go grocery shopping with you. She's in the SEFCU building on Patroon Creek Blvd across from the SUNY entrance.
