GlutenFreeSingleMom 22 Posted September 30, 2013 Depending on what your doctor allows I was able to have broth, cream Soups, sugar free Popsicles and Jello
cpeycke 16 Posted September 30, 2013 you may want to look at the slim fast, ensure ect they may have too much sugar and such. I think just Protein Powder with Water maybe better (be sure to read the contents). And like the other post Jello and popsicles.
gomekast 559 Posted September 30, 2013 What do you think of choices that I am thinking about buying? Slim fast Ensure Boost A case of smart Water broth Anything else I should buy I'd just buy the water and broth out of your list. My NUT gave me a list of acceptable RTD items and the other 3 on your list weren't on mine. That said, I have made two trips to GNC and purchased muscle milk and Isopure. They had some marked down due to exp dates coming up in December.

gomekast 559 Posted October 1, 2013 My doctor said No Muscle Milk Mix your Protein Shakes with 8 oz of Skim Milk Hmm, I can see why. The regular MM is higher in calories. The mm light is on my list of acceptable rtd shakes. It's lactose free, and I am very lactose intolerant pre op. My choices are pretty limited.
missy moo 19 Posted October 1, 2013 I start 2 week pre op on the 7th. I will be on Optifast. I am allowed leafy veg and that's it apart from opti shakes and Soups .
