sys81 12 Posted September 30, 2013 Hello everyone I had my sleeve done on 9/20. I am still on a full liquid diet. Since surgery I have been to pizza parties and a family party that is loaded with good food. I was wondering what most of you are eating at this stage of your life? I can't lie but I'm looking forward to eating food...in moderation and healthy choices.
jandseakin 96 Posted October 1, 2013 Protein, protein, protein! Plus a little fruit or veges if there is room. So, eggs, chicken, turkey, cheese, greek yogurt, etc. Love things like chili and Soup. And low-carb tortilla with all kinds of fillings. Best recipe is lasagna cups, found on this website. Speaking of pizza, I had a piece of hubby's pizza the other day. It tasted wonderful, but I was hungry an hour later. Not enough protein, I suspect. You can eat a wide variety of foods, in moderation. It's a wonderful journey! 1 sys81 reacted to this
BrownDoesAll 409 Posted October 5, 2013 I'm two years out and eating anything I want. My portions are smaller and I always start with Protein then veggies.. I have an occasional dessert. Stay focused on this time of the plan. You'll lose the most amount of weight during these next 4 - 6 months. I wish I had been more controlled during the beginning like your in. I promise your gonna be able to eat normally..just not as much as you used to. For example tonight I had steak and broccoli Sugar Free Chocolate pudding for dessert. 2 sys81 and sherry24184 reacted to this
