BWaltD 87 Posted October 2, 2013 I had my eval 2 weeks ago. I am a 49 yr old male. I was exhausted after my eval I needed a nap. A 20 page questionnaire followed by a 2 hour interview. How far do you let them in? Hard cracking that door open an inch and not letting it burst open. Funny note. I was handed a piece of paper that had the outline of an obese person on it. Around the out edge were ailments related to be overweight. After stating which Ailments i have " at my current weight". I was then ask which of the others am I concerned about getting if I do not lose weight. Having had enough of this eval I looked over the list and said, I pretty much have the four worse on the list and attempted to hand the sheet back to the good doctor. He said surely there is something I was concerned about getting if I didn't lose the weight. I looked again and stated polycystic ovarian disease. I look up and he is writing that in my chart. I start laughing out loud and he looks up at me, makes a face and scratches out my reply. Funny ****. Not that PCOS us funny but I was done. 10 minutes later its all over. 10 minutes after that he returns with his eval and my approval. YEAH!!! I then stated. It was a little tense in there. Ya gotta cut loose now and then and walked away a happy man. Ive got 2-3 more hoops to jump through and hoping for a mid December surgery date.

J.Diesel 220 Posted October 2, 2013 1) Psych evaluation is a breeze. They make you take an exam to see if you're crazy before you sit and talk to the Psychologist 2) Nutritionist evaluation is also a breeze. Try to remember back to 8th grade or High School Health Class, They will show you what is Protein, the difference between good carbs and bad carbs, etc. Good Luck!! Jenelle 141 Posted October 16, 2013 Just got back from my psyc eval. I was pretty nervous but it was so easy. I only had like 20 questions and then she asked me some other questions less than an hour and it was over. :-)
