What Was Your Starting Weight?

I am 6' 3" My heaviest was 418. Just before surgery I was at 362. Today I am at 251. A total of 167 pounds lost.

I am 49 years old, and 5'1" tall. Starting weight 210. Surgery was 4/24/13. I am 5 months post surgery and weight as of today is 147. 64 lbs lost. Best thing I have EVER done.

Another 6'3" guy ... Heaviest was 330, Surgery at 320, I'm 12 weeks out and I'm at 260.

When I started this crazy journey I was 378 pounds. I had my surgery 11days ago at 333 pounds and as of today I'm at 318 according to my home scale.< /p>

My highest weight was 382.5, day of surgery 371, and as of last Tuesday I was 356. I get to weigh again Tuesday and I can't wait! :D

I'm 5' 11"...My heaviest was 417. Day of surgery I was at 389. I was sleeved on 8/26/13. The last time I weighed myself I was at 375 (2 weeks post op).

I'm 5'2 started at 228. Now 218. Pre-op . Date for surgery is 10-3. So i'm on my liquid pre-op diet now.

Am 5'7 when i started the process i weight 300( my heaviest ). Now am 283. 3 days post op

Starting weight pre band 4 yrs ago was 248. Start weight pre revision 12 wks ago was 174. Current is 155. Goal is 130. Going sloooowwwww.....

Wow you have done amazing, my start weight was exactly the same as you, I'm 7 weeks out & lost 37 lbs so far! I'm hoping I'm as successful as you x

Highest weight 313. Same as surgery day weight. Now 2 months out and just broke through 280. Only 33 pounds lost but I feel like a new person. Best thing I have ever done for myself. Why didn't I consider this years ago!?!

      Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
      1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

        All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

      I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
