What Was Your Starting Weight?

Hi. I'm due to be sleeved on 10/10 and my starting weight is 230lb. I'm just wondering what other people started at? Lx

My heaviest was 320 my starting weight was 315. I am now hovering between 168-174 pounds. I am 5'9".

I am 6'3" . Heaviest 423, at surgery 366, now 331 (3 months out). Have a long way yet, but "no journey is too long as long as you don't give up".

At the start of this journey I was 248, 228 day of surgery, and now--at 3 months post-op--I'm at 181. Im 5'6" and my goal is to weigh 145/140.

Wow--you look great! May I ask if you have had plastics? Your tummy looks really flat and I am impressed! I want that someday.

To the OP: I started at 275 lbs 5 months ago. I am at 214 today. You are gonna do great!

I started at 230 and I'm 5'6. I'm about two months out and at 198, losing slowly but steadily.

Hi I'm 55 5'9" heaviest 306 started the journey at 280 surgery 247 now 5 1/2 weeks out 210

Starting weight 273. Day of surgery 7/10 - 265. Current weight 230.

My highest weight was 301, day of surgery 276. surgery date 12-21-2012. Today I'm 165. my current goal is 150 . after that 135. I'm 5'7

My highest weight was 282 I have lost 21 pounds so far pre op I start my liquid diet on November 5th and have surgery on Nov 19th.

5ft 10, highest weight probably around the 265-270 mark. Surgery day weight 250 odd. I am 8 days out and to be honest, I haven't got a clue what I weigh! Huzzah!

      Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
      1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

        All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

      I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
