Yea that! It is kind of annoying when you go to a profile and there is NOTHING there. Not that mine is the greatest mind you. But I want to see surgery date and starting weight and current- thats all I ask. More is good too.

I don't look at profiles to really evaluate a persons weight loss, although if people have before and after shots, that's very cool. I like to see who it is who has been looking at my profile and its nice if they're normal human beings, because I like to make friends. More often than not, however, when I pointedly hunt down a profile, it's to glance at their previous posts to see if they have 'form' for writing total and utter self-absorbed, 'woe is me', over-dramatic, over-the-top 'the world is ending' or generally angry and antagonistic bollox. Most of the time, my suspicions are confirmed!

I agree, the more info you can put in your profile, the better!! I think we all profile stalk!! I've tried to keep mine as current as possible so people have a sense of where I've been. I know I really appreciated the people that kept their info current when I was first stalking this journey!! I still profile stalk sometimes too :) It give you inspiration!! Good luck!

Hey just because I'm was a dramatic whinger in the beginning, er last week, doesn't make me a complete loser! ;-)

I like to see who's stalking me and vice versa!

Oh, SiS, you're far from what I classify as being a whinger... I'm talking the card-carrying unhinged... They walk among us, you know..

I actually met 2 people in real life that I stalked from here.

I think it threw them for a loop that I'd read ALL their posts & knew their story.

But, I played it cool... Eventually they realized I knew their story & was being polite/ pretending i didnt know already.

Kinda killed the conversation.

allons-y

I found this VST page and I have gone crazy nuts over all the information here. I am new to the site' date=' and went to several, okay MANY profiles to look at all the profiles, before and afters and stats. WELL..... I just discovered that you all can see on your profiles who has visited! ha ha ha.... Hi, my name is Angie and yes, I stalked your profile [/quote'] Oops well I am guilty as charged!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
