Tabbatha35. . . What type of insurance do you have? How many nutrition apt did you have to do? Did you get your date before you finished the nutrition apt?

I have bcbs hra plan. I only had 1 nutrition appointment and get cleared by her and I was. I got my date after my surgeons office got my psych eval, sleep dr clearance, md's clearance/recommendation, and history of weight.

My surgeons office submitted my paperwork last Monday and it was approved the next day.

I got approved today. I'm scheduled for 10/25.

They changed my surgery date to 11/1. So tomorrow is my surgery.

I live south of Raleigh and have mine on 11/6 (day after my 27th birthday). I'm going through Duke and will have Dr. Torquati. They didn't require any preop diet except the 24hrs before.

My doctor is the same way. I only had a liquid diet today.
