SuNMooNStaRS816 423 Posted September 25, 2013 When else have you lost an average of 14.6lbs a month? It didn't come on over night. It won't come off over night. Relax and enjoy your journey. Stay on your plan and you will lose it. You got this!!!! 6 onedaycloser, FRED1977, Fabsfluff and 3 others reacted to this

Sdunn1980 33 Posted September 25, 2013 A 44 pound loss is great and it only gets better. Think of it this way you lost about what my 9 yr old weighs.
keisha$0124 0 Posted September 25, 2013 You guts are right. Im grateful. However I've seen higher weights Loss at 3 months so i figure Im a slow loser. I weighed in at 218 the day of surgery. mrsscott
marfar7 1,533 Posted September 25, 2013 The less you weigh, the slower ull lose. I started at 174 (revision from band) on July 16th and am only down 18 lbs in 11 weeks. I knew I'd lose slower, being at a lower weight, but this is ridiculous. Yes, I could probly bump up my loss by lowering my calories, spending more time at the gym, basically "dieting", but I had wls to get away from dieting and I'm happy right now. I went from 248 lbs to 152 and if I never lost 1 lbs more ( I will, however!) I'm happy and confident of where I am. I'm hoping to get to goal in about 6-9 more months. The last 20 lbs will be the toughest (or so I hear). The first 95 were easy peasy compared. Yeah, don't compare yourself yo anyone else. U have no idea what weight they started at, how much they're "dieting", etc. Just keep up the good work and ull succeed! 1 rmma1000 reacted to this

keisha$0124 0 Posted September 25, 2013 Thank you for your advice. I'm only eating Protein no carbs, so I expected more loss but you are right, I will just take it one day at a time.

You got the dbl whammy. But it doesn't mean you won't do it. You have an awesome attitude. You will get there.
lucy00us 7 Posted September 25, 2013 I'll be 3 months out next week and have lost 41 lbs. as of today. I'm happy with the weight lost so far. I know I could probably have lost more if I exercised, but I'm so lazy for exercise anyway...I don't regret having this surgery. I feel great!

But also I am an older patient and don't expect to lose like iI did in my 20's or 30's.
