Ms skinniness 3,003 Posted September 26, 2013 Yayyyyyyyyyyy! Happy Birthday! You made it! Sounds like you are back on track now and even lost a little bit too....I focus on eating Proteins mainly with veggies and skip the breads, pasta's, and rice. When I do eat something carby, my cravings for sugar come back. I am addicted to sugar so I read all labels on processed foods and usually avoid labels that have any sugar listed on them. I also don't eat corn because cattle are feed corn to fatten them up, so what is corn going to do to me? It is really hard to maintain this and am do fall off the wagon often, but all in all, I'm doing good..... I have been losing for the past 4 days and am so happy even if it's just a few ozs.... 2 amykins and Georgia reacted to this

My goal was to get to my birthday with no sugar/low carbs and I did it! Today, I am sticking to the plan except for a piece of birthday cake that intend to eat this evening with my family and then right back to business tomorrow! I feel fantasticly back in control of things. It's an awesome feeling.[/quote'] Happy birthday ! Did I tell you I LOVE cake??? LOL
stomlin75 161 Posted September 27, 2013 Awww, you guys are sweet. I had a great birthday and stayed very conscious of eating good foods throughout the day and then for dinner, I enjoyed an awesome drink (earl grey infused vodka with lemonade), prime rib, horseradish sauce, veggies, and a slice of vanilla cake. Today, I am back on plan after weighing in and having dropped another pound. It's good to be back. 6 sarsar, amykins, No game and 3 others reacted to this

JackieV 246 Posted October 2, 2013 eggface has decent cake recipes....easy too..... Oh no, I might need to venture out and see them. I'm currently at my desk forbidding myself from going to our cafe, they have carrot cake there today and I really, really want some. BUT I want to be under 200 more. It's touch and go, thankfully my phone keeps ringing and I can't escape my desk. Since this is my 1st post in the Veterans category I should introduce myself a little. I was sleeved almost 8 months ago, I'm down 114lbs and now fighting to lose the rest. It's slowed way down, hunger has returned and my sleeve has matured. I find myself relating to this category more than the others. I appreciate all the support everyone gives each other. 3 feedyoureye, Georgia and AngiD reacted to this

You can make something that is delicious and will do much less damage... plan ahead girl. You can do it! 2 JackieV and Georgia reacted to this

Left work an hour early and made a Protein shake instead. I'm off to my first softball practice in years. This is going to be ugly. I'm planning to check out her blog tonight when I get home. I need t mix up my weekly diet. I've been stuck with Protein shakes and beef jerky/cheese.
feedyoureye 3,087 Posted October 3, 2013 She has tons of great recipes for goodies. I know some people stay away from any treat like food, but me, I've got to have them in my plans, or I go a little crazy. It works for me. I make little mug cakes now and then, out of super good ingredients, and sugar free. It really keeps my sweet tooth in line, and the scales heading in the right direction. I even bought an ice cream maker to make Protein ice cream. 1 Georgia reacted to this
