steppy1979 4 Posted September 22, 2013 I had my surgery on 9/16/13, they told me I could walk as long as comfortable and to wait for gym type excercise / stomach work outs tell I hit six weeks post op. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
DangerousD 77 Posted September 22, 2013 I think everyone is different. My doctor told me that I would have to wait 4 weeks to go back to the gym and 6 weeks to go back to swimming. Check with your surgeon's office to make sure. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

cathycnyrs 85 Posted September 24, 2013 My NUT and DR said I could go to the gym as soon as I felt ready, and just take it easy. They both said, Treadmill, Bike and Elliptical were fine. My NUT said I could get in the pool, but not the jacuzzi. Would love to hear from people that hit the gym early and at an easy pace and how many minutes they could do on a Treadmill or Bike. I figured I'd go and try for 10 min the first trip and then get in the pool (treading Water, not swimming).... would love input also. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
