Dropped 3 pants size in 2 months

Recommended Posts

Yes its amazing how quick men shed the lbs vs women. Im almost 3months out and have loss 85lbs to date. Im feeling great and at time question me still be that fat guy. My waist is going faster than my upper level. And guys know good routine on getting rid of the male breast and love handles.

I'm 7 weeks out and I've dropped 1 pant size but the ones I'm currently wearing are a little big.

I think guys have a different perspective on weight loss sometimes. It's less about the numbers on the scale. For me, it's about my pant sizes. I gauge my progress with fitting into my smaller pants stashed away in my drawers. When I zip up that smaller pair, I get all excited and jump around amazed how good it feels to wear some old pair of jeans.

I was at my biggest 42-44, now 36 comfortably.

I like that I have returned to belt loops. As I grew, I evolved into mostly pants or shorts with elastic or drawstrings. I stopped noticing size past 48's. (xxl) I'm now squeezing into 38's and my goal is to fit loosely in 36's.

I can totally relate to the pants size thing. My largest was a size 66; I'm 6 months post op and now wear a comfortable size 38. UNFREAKIN-BELIEVABLE!

Looking good man. Congrats. I'm starting my liquid diet tomorrow w/ Sept 16 surgery.

I have started a new gym membership so I can tone while I lose. "Moobs" will be a big focus. There are some threads in the Guys Room on doing incline & decline press, and other ideas to help get rid of them.

Keep up the good work!

I started out 13 months ago with size 50 pants and a 4xlt shirt. I am now down to a size 34 pant and a Xlt shirt. For most of last year I would buy 2 pair of cheap Walmart jeans because I lost so many inches so consistantly that it didn't make sense to buy any decent clothes. Now I have completely replaced my wardrobe with nice clothes and I am back in business.

You all kiss ass. I can't wait for that time to come. I know I have saved lots of clothes from over the years, but I want those to be too big too!!! so one of my tipping points was busting a couple pairs of work pants that got too tight, now a week before surgery and only down 15 pounds, they are loose and comfortable! can't wait to shred those pounds!!!

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
