Dropped 3 pants size in 2 months

Recommended Posts

Just had my surgery on Wednesday (11/20/13) and wanted to know what would be good for my 'meals' while on the liquid phase of the post op diet.. any suggestions??? I know I need Water and Protein Shakes but what can I 'eat'?? And is it more important that I try to get in the water and protien shakes down instead of trying to eat?

I'm so happy for this thread. I was sleeved on October 14, 2013 pants size was 64 now My pants size is 48 going to 46. Shirt size was 6XL now it's Xl going to a L. I'm ecstatic about shopping at normal size clothing stores Yippie (side note my credit card companies or even happier!) :| lol

At surgery I was a 56 waist. Four weeks later, I just bought a pair of slacks with 50 inch waist. And I won't be wearing them long!

I dropped from 42 at surgery to 38 a month out. Now at six weeks those pants are already getting loose on me. New belt is helping out.

I was sleeved same day. I was a 4XLT and wore a tight 50 inch pants. Down to a comfy 40 and either an XLT or XXLT, depending on who's making the shirt. I don't have any damn clothes in my closet anymore! Good thing January is clearance month at most clothing stores.

Gentlemen

I have about 12 pair of size 46 pants to give away, ( and belts)

Mostly good quality Brooks Brothers/ Jos Banks--- very good condition

Some lesser brands.

Some chinos. LL Bean Orvis, pretty good condition

Some blue jeans. (worn hard)

Some sport jackets. I' m guessing size 50. - 52. They fit when I was 250-270#

No charge, just pay shipping costs,

I would rather give them to a fellow sleever than to a charity box.

Also if any one has some size 40 or 42 to send my way I would appreciate it.

I can be e mailed at : lavenderladyllc@mac.com

Started at a size 48 pant. A solid 42 now.

On MLK day I bought 2 pair of 40's at ll Bean. They had Elastic in the Waist bands, so they are a "generous" 40. Wore one of them today.

I have some 46's to give away. free. just pay postage.

12 pair wool. 1 pair silk, 5-7 pr chinos, 3-4 pr jeans.

also some sport coats like a 50 or 52 size (not sure) they fit when I was 250-260#

contact me at : lavenderladyllc@mac.com

Congrats. I'm 10 months out. I've dropped from a 6x to a large in shirts and from a 48 to a loose 32 in pants. It's so hard keeping up with clothes. I bought a lot a couple months ago, thinking I wouldn't lose anymore. Oops. I was wrong. Goodwill has been a wallet saver for me

Just made a drop off at Salvation Army of three large bags of clothes. And that doesn't count the ones I just threw out.

Redid the closet with stuff from storage. It's telling the amount of smaller clothes I had in storage.........Literally tons of size L and 36 pants, then a whole lot less of 38's and XLs. Moving on to 42's and 2X's only about 10 and now everything above that is gone.

I obviously disliked buying larger clothes as I grew, and kept the others, always expecting to lose back down. I can't wait to get back into the smallest in the closet. Nevermind actually wanting to go buy new clothes.

I've gone from a 44 to a 34. It's a huge change, and I've not been a huge fan... tons of money in clothes and I've sent 10 large bags to Goodwill and I still have more. What I've been doing while I've been losing is buying a size smaller than what I needed in those pants with the stretchy things on the side. I stretch those out and eventually, they fit well... just a suggestion because it's saved me money on work pants and other dress clothes. I'm down 80 lbs in 3 months.

From a 48 to a solid 42.

Wore a 40 ( with stretchy thing on side) this week.

Looks like a 2 pound loss for the week!

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

      2. BlondePatriotInCDA

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
