jbrown 5 Posted September 22, 2013 When I had my surgery, I had to enter the hospital two hours early. Surprisingly, the staff took me back immediately. It seems my physician wanted an entire bag of fluids infused prior to surgery and that took nearly 1 hr 30 minutes then they started adding the antibiotics to the next bag. Maybe that is the answer to your question. Good luck to you.
