crystal916 4 Posted September 21, 2013 So this is my first time posting. Im 5'10 and my surgery was 8/26/13. My weight at surgery was 376 As of today im down 48lbs! Other ppl say they see it, I really cant. However my face is significantly smaller. Its soooo hard. Not the not eating part, but the way I feel. At times I wonder if this was the right thing to do. The numbers mske me snsp out of it lol. But my energy is sooo low its terrible. Im having problems with Protein. The shakes make me gag... but hey it'll get better n i cant be mad at 48lbs in 26 days! 2 Taels2013 and A_ReNUDE_me reacted to this
FitnFabfor2014 358 Posted September 21, 2013 Hi, I haven't had my surgery yet but, what is the hardest part for you? Is it just the energy and Protein? Congrats on your weight loss!!!
wannabaloser 59 Posted September 21, 2013 I have lost 40 pounds in one month and 10 days and I don't see it either. Everyone else does though. I am like you with Protein shakes. I am making smoothies with the powder to try to lile it better. I also either have diarrhea (sorry, tmi) or horrible heartburn after I do the Protein drinks. I had energy issues the first week or so but now I feel great. I am super glad I chose this surgery and honestly ig I don't lose another pound I will still be happy. crystal916 4 Posted September 21, 2013 Thank you! Yes for me its having no energy and feeling sluggish and nautious all day.. which im hearing is due to not getting in my Protein. Other then that im ok. No pain, no scarring, no stomach aches. Just lack of energy 1 FitnFabfor2014 reacted to this

Take a lactaid or two with your shakes, it will help you feel better.
kwigillingok 177 Posted September 21, 2013 I lost 45 pounds preop (started at 378) and I couldn't see it either, well maybe just a tiny bit in my face but definitely nowhere else. I did feel it in the way my clothing fit though! I had my surgery Monday and gained 13 pounds while I was in the hospital, from all the Fluid they pumped into me, I'm assuming. I weighed myself the other day and saw that I had lost that weight and haven't stepped on the scale since. I look at it everytime I go into the bathroom but I don't want to begin the habit of weighing every day and then feeling disappointed when the numbers aren't as low as some I've seen reported here. I just keep telling myself, "this will work" if I follow all the rules and do what I'm supposed to do, I will lose weight. 1 FitnFabfor2014 reacted to this

I have told myself after the surgery I will not become scale obessed. I don't even own a scale. The way I feel and the way my clothes fit will determine my happiness. I see so many posts about daily weigh in numbers and I just couldn't deal with my weight numbers going up and down. Good luck to everyone on meeting your goals! I can't wait to start my new journey. kwigillingok 177 Posted September 21, 2013 Oh no, my scale calls to me. I hear it say Ella every time I walk into the bathroom! I'm just trying to ignore it because I know once I start, I won't stop. 2 gamergirl and FitnFabfor2014 reacted to this

1gorgeousgodzilla 192 Posted September 21, 2013 Crystal that is some serious progress in one months time! Congrats!! I hate you are feeling weak though. Have you tried the Isopure zero carb rtd drinks in the glass bottle? They aren't milky, and I've had worst tasting beverages.< /p>
