joanne2013 9 Posted September 20, 2013 Had sleeve gastrectomy 1yr ago and want another baby but am terifed of regaining the weight does anyone know how much weight if any I would gain apart from the 10kgs baby weight? Will it just fall off post birth as pre pregnancy? Thanx
CJsmom84 90 Posted September 21, 2013 I don't know weight in kgs but I'm 17 weeks and 6lbs gained I'm hoping that everything just keeps going as it is my goal is just to be 25lbs heavier at the end of the pregnancy. As long as I avoid the gestational diabetes I think I will be fine. I would worry about it too much. Most from what I've learned have bounced back with in weeks of delivery. Just talk with your doc and get a plan in place also with your nut. Sent from my EVO using VST 1 joanne2013 reacted to this

beautifulnewme2012 164 Posted September 22, 2013 I am 25 weeks. I have gained 19 lbs. Doing awesome so far. My doc says 25-30 lbs gain is ok. Of course I want the least amount of gain possible. Though I plan to breastfeed. 1 joanne2013 reacted to this
Chittick24 52 Posted September 22, 2013 I wAs just over a year post op when I found out I was pregnant. I gained 30 lbs through out which dropped pretty quickly after I gave birth. However, you have to deal with a new baby, exhaustion and getting yourself back into sleeve life. That meaning meals, Protein, Water etc. that is what I didn't do and I gained 30 lbs in 18 months. Now I'm back and trying to lose. Do as best you can to make a schedule that will allow you to get back in to pre pregnancy maintenance 1 joanne2013 reacted to this

brittneyly 22 Posted September 23, 2013 I'm 24w1d prgo. I've gained 17lbs. Started at 143lbs today I am 160lbs... I got pregnant around 11 months post op but didn't find out till my 1 year post op appointment. I have to be careful with how much I eat and what I eat because the restriction has gone out the window. I was only able to eat maybe 1/4 of a sandwich before I got prego and now I can eat a whole sandwich. I find myself basically eating all the time! I crave sweets! My dr keeps telling me to stop worrying about my weight and just eat healthy but it's hard! Hope this helps you some! 2 joanne2013 and Amytequilahouse reacted to this

I've noticed that I've been eating the whole sandwich too but my worries is that I haven't gained. My mom says that my face and body look like they're still losing weight except my belly. That's the only thing growing. I have a soon this week to check measurements. I'm praying to god they are getting everything I intake.
