shutuplena 0 Posted January 20, 2007 I didn't have one either. I tried not to go crazy eating everything, but I did. Good luck.
stacyrtl 0 Posted January 20, 2007 I wasn't given one either, but I am going to do one on my own anyway. To get myself prepared ya know. And also so that I can lose as much as I can before my surgery, which helps increase the success of the surgery. Good luck to you!!

Jachut 487 Posted January 20, 2007 No, I didnt have one either - my doc says that unless the liver actually needs shrinking, Optifast is not a healthy way to lose weight - and high protein/low carb is not really advocated here in Australia either. Its just the lesser of two evils if the liver is fatty. Its pretty much standard for all his patients to do it but I just happened to have had a liver ultrasound days before I first met with him, so I was lucky. sherilynn 1 Posted January 20, 2007 Nope; don't have one either. But also was told not to gain weight; so watch out for the 'last supper syndrome'. Good luck
