pjb84 16 Posted September 19, 2013 I'm pre op and still trying to decide which surgery to have. 90% leaning toward the sleeve. I'm curious to know if one surgery or the other changes your food preferences?

buckeyefan1985 29 Posted September 20, 2013 I can honestly say that my tastes for food and drinks (including water) have not changed post surgery. My surgery date was July 31. I have not eaten anything that has disagreed with me. Totally surprised by this since so many posters have had problems. I am very greatful.
Sunshine22 55 Posted September 20, 2013 I have not had any changes in my food or drink preferences. I wish I had lost the desire for some foods...no such luck!
debrooks66 41 Posted September 20, 2013 I have definitely lost some taste for food. No longer like eggs, chicken is a struggle and beef is a struggle. I don't crave sweets at all nor chips or salty things. Water I have to have lemon or lime in it. Plain I do not like. It has not been a bad thing. I've lost 42 lbs so far and I was sleeved a month ago on Aug 20th!
