kittykoo 1 Posted January 19, 2007 Just want to say hello to everyone...I am excited to have found this site. I had lap band surgery in 2005 and have lost a little over 100 lbs. Although I am happy with the results, I still need to loose about 35 pounds more and the scale has just frozen. Has anyone else experienced a slow-down after a couple of years, or is it just me? If you have any advice, please share it with me. Thanks
gigi8 0 Posted January 19, 2007 Congrats on your weight loss! I haven't been banded yet, so I have no experience there. I know from researching and from talking with my doctor that this is common. Do you exercise? Sometimes changing your routine can help your body start losing again. Good luck! Gigi
Devana 0 Posted January 20, 2007 Kittykoo, a big welcome and congratulations on your spectacular weight loss. I'm thinking the best thing to do is keep reading and check out some of the other threads, especially the one for bandsters that have lost 100 pounds. I'm sure you'll find others in the same situation. Good luck.
