EarthWormJenn 13 Posted September 19, 2013 Best of luck to you, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I haven't gotten my surgery yet so no advice, but I have had many other surgeries. Best thing is take deep breaths and relax. Happy Thoughts
Ms.Yvette 96 Posted September 19, 2013 Bring a heating pad and some gas x strips. Woohoo good luck. Finally the day is here. You'll do great.
peachie86 63 Posted September 19, 2013 You will do fine. The gas strips will be helpful, although I could not find any at the last minute. Congratulations!

Shells_Almost_There 357 Posted September 19, 2013 It gets a bit "too real" while you wait, but keep your goals in mind. Despite the worry before surgery, once the ball starts rolling it's over before you know it and you're on the next step to recovery and the new you! Best of luck! SuzyB 182 Posted September 19, 2013 If you have nausea ask for the scope patch. That worked so well for me, the other 2 meds peregen and re???? Knocked me right out. Walk walk sip sip. And as bad as you may feel, you will be amazed how much better you felt in even 10 hrs more.
