DanielleSleeve 82 Posted September 19, 2013 When will the middle of my chest stop hurting? It hurts to the touch.
Arts137 1,811 Posted September 19, 2013 give us a little background. If you are within 2 weeks of surgery, yep it'll stop. If it's still gas, walk walk walk. If it's heartburn, antacids or a PPI might help. If it's incisional pain, should be better (look for heat and redness). If I am off-base, call the doc. Shoot, you paid him a Bunch of money! 1 SuperFab reacted to this
T'snewstart 251 Posted September 19, 2013 In the beginning it is usually gas.... I used gas x strips that helped a lot. Honestly at ten months out if I drink too much too fast or eat too much too fast I feel the same pressure... I have to remind myself sip ... don't gulp.... eat slow.... and yes walking does help to relive the discomfort. Hope you find relief soon!
