Protein powder question

I boiled a cup o Water and added my vanilla Protein powder plus a little bit of Decaf coffe nd it taste just like a cappucino nd im 4 days post op nd the ho liquids go down easier but i was wondering if hot liquid takes away from the Protein Powder? ?

Not recommended with unjury Protein powder. Can't remember why (the memory is the first thing to go).

Ppl say it denatures the protein... But cooking an egg denatures the Protein, and I'm NOT drinking raw eggs! lol

the Protein can curdle if it gets too hot, just like milk. It's not bad, it just has a funky texture. I found hot/warm beverages were much easier to stomach the first few months also. do what you have to do to get that protein in! Welcome to the losers bench :)

The Protein can denature if heated, but when it denatures and just turns into amino acids which is what your body wants anyhow so shouldn't be a problem I my humble opinion.

All of the Unjury containers say to keep it under 150°, which to me is the perfect temp for a hot drink. Next time you go to the store, get a cheap thermometer from the kitchen section. Less than 2 bucks, and I use mine all the time
